Abstract We investigate theoretical and observational aspects of a warm inflation scenario driven by the $$\beta $$ β -exponential potential, which generalizes well-known power law inflation. In such scenario, decay inflaton field into radiation happens during inflationary phase. our study, we consider dissipation coefficient ( $$\varGamma Γ ) with cubic dependence on temperature T consequences in dynamics, focusing impact spectral index $$n_s$$ n s , its running $$n_{run}$$ run tensor-to-scalar ratio r . find it possible to realize agreement current cosmic microwave background data weak strong regimes. also model light swampland conjectures, as regime has been known way satisfy three conditions currently discussed literature. that when \propto T^3$$ ∝ T 3 can be accommodated conjectures.
